Volume loss to the face and volume enhancement to the lips
As we age the face loses volume in the cheeks, temples, under the eyes and along the jaw, and lips can lose their shape and fullness. We can provide consultations for the treatment of volume loss to the face and volume enhancement to the lips. In a consultation we look at each area properly, then talk through what's possible for you.
Lips
Thin lips, uneven lips, or lips that have lost definition over time. We look at shape and balance with the rest of your face, not just size.
Cheeks and mid face
Flattened cheeks and the hollowing that makes a face look tired. We assess where the volume has gone and what would restore it naturally.
Under eyes
Hollows and shadows under the eyes that make you look tired when you're not. We check whether volume loss is the cause before suggesting anything.
Jawline and chin
A weak or receding chin and a jawline that has softened. We look at your profile from the side as well as the front.
What happens in a cosmetic nurse consultation

You'll sit down with Jess or Olivia. We take photos and run the Observ Skin Analysis, talk through what's bothering you and what you'd like to achieve, and put together a personalised treatment plan. If a treatment needs a prescription, that's assessed here.
You'll see results from our own patients and get pricing tailored to your plan, in the room. There's no obligation to go ahead on the day, and a review with a nurse afterwards is free.
Why we don't show prices or results online On 7 March 2024 the TGA released new regulations for advertising in the cosmetic injectable industry. These stop us from using generic terms for these treatments, sharing our before and after results, or discussing pricing anywhere online, including social media, emails and our website. We understand it's frustrating as a patient when you can't see results or price lists when you're looking into treatments. It makes marketing our business harder too, but we're committed to following the guidelines while continuing to offer the care you've come to expect from us. We're still able to share all of this in a face to face consultation, including showing you our results and discussing pricing tailored to your concerns. Jess graduated from La Trobe University in 2009 and found her love for cosmetic nursing after working across a range of nursing areas in Wangaratta and Melbourne. She completed her Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Nursing with AACDS in 2014, trained further with Skin Science Melbourne, and opened Skinsational in 2017 after moving home to the Wangaratta area.

Olivia has been a Registered Nurse since 2014, with experience across Neonatal Intensive Care, Clinical Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist roles, and a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of Melbourne. She works across cosmetic nursing and advanced skin treatments, and takes her time to listen and explain your options.
PRP treatment for skin and hair
PRP uses your own blood. We draw a small amount, spin it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets, and inject them back where you'd like your skin repaired and rejuvenated. The platelets release growth factors that support new collagen, blood supply and cell growth.
On the face it's used for overall skin health, tone and elasticity, fine lines, acne scarring, under-eye hollows and sun damage. It also works beautifully on the neck, décolletage, backs of hands and stretch marks. On the scalp it's used for hair loss, where it helps weaker follicles grow healthier, stronger hair.
We use the Alocuro PRO-PRP system for a high platelet yield, and a numbing cream goes on first so you're comfortable. Hair treatments finish with a soothing scalp massage, and LED can be added to calm the area and speed up healing.
Full face, neck and décolletage $660 per treatment. Hair $660 per treatment.
